Join the Staff
So in case you hadn't noticed I (MyrrhLynn) have been very busy doing other not-related-to-Daystar stuff, and that doesn't look likely to end anytime soon. PegasusRider finally bought her Wii so I'm expecting her to be MIA until at least January 2008 depending on how many games she gets for her birthday/Christmas. @_@ And Kit is busy with school and cranks out the layouts when she can. So in the end I came to the awesome well-thought-out decions that we need more staff! There are two main positions available:
Layout Designer
Must be able to code a design that will look decent in the major browsers, as well as work without horizontal scrolling on resoulutions of 1024x768 or higher. Must also demonstrate the ability to give proper credit to brushes, scan, textures, artist/studio when appropriate. Your designs do not have to validate as XHTML strict compliant but they should be close.
Avatar/Icon Designer
I used "icon" since that is how people usually refer to 100x100 avatars on blog/journal communities. Honestly it's pretty easy to impress me with these cause I suck at them. However I don't want to see simple crops of pictures. They shoudl be decorated with a template, or text, or brushes, or something so they look different from a crop of whatever image you used.
We are currently not looking for wallpaper artists. This is mostly because the talented artists at Minitokyo.net have spoiled me so I am picky of the quality.
